Free webinar- Digging Deeper into Victorian collections

Many collection institutions such as museums, libraries and archives have made a concerted effort to digitise a range of resources from the First World War. Resources such as newspapers, diaries and letters offer students an insight into the personal impact of the war on those involved.

In this free webinar educators from the Shrine of Remembrance, State Library of Victoria, National Gallery of Victoria, History Teachers’ Association of Victoria and Museum Victoria will introduce the range of digitised resources available. Participants will also share tips for exploring the conflict, and we will devote time to discussing some of the complexities of teaching the First World War.

The webinar is free and will be delivered online through Blackboard Collaborate. You will be able to access the room from 3.30pm.
